(Police Comment)
It was observed that the incident started at about 10:15 P.M on Wednesday night on the third floor room at Irving Plaza. Very close to Manhattan’s Union Square
.
19 year old Live Hoffman who happened to be a witness at the scene confirmed that there was a form of argument and disagreement which occurred between two unknown groups before the shooting started. She also confirmed that a friend which she was talking to was also part of the victims of the shooting.
When asked about her observation at the scene Hoffman replied that the girl who she was talking to got shot and had to be carried out by a man. She also made it known to The Press that even after the event she was still shaking cause she couldn’t believe what just happened and she was also scared cause shots kept ranging from the area for about three (3) minutes and they had to hold each other in other to avoid another casualty.
The Chief of Detectives; William Aubry reported that the individual who died during the incident happens to be a 33 year old man and reports came later that he was shot in the stomach and died after being rushed to the hospital. Reports also came that another individual was shot in the chest while two other casualties got shot in the leg but so far only one of them has been confirmed dead so the other three are probably during okay at the moment.
