After being frustrated, Victoria decided it would be totally impossible not to have her father walk her down the aisle on her wedding day, so she and her family members had to make a very difficult decision of having Walter (Her Father) undergo a very risky operation, even though this was one of the most challenging decisions Victoria ever got to make over her father’s health, she was so determined and full of life and hope just to see her father walk again.
On the day of the surgery just few weeks to her wedding, Victoria was with her father looking at him straight into his eyes and trying to be strong at the same time, her father looked back at her with a smile and wrote on a paper because he couldn’t speak as a result of the incidence "Vicky, if i don’t make it out of that theater alive just know i love you so much and i would do anything possible just to make you happy". Tears ran out of her eyes as minutes later her father was being taken in for the operation.
